Why WP Technology?
You might think that WP is there to stand for WordPress. It is true that today, that name comes in very handy.
In reality, though, when I created it in 1999, WordPress did not exist yet: that CMS released its first version on 27 May 2003.
Originally, we developed software and tools for the world of music and video. At that time, WP meant “Waveform Processing”.
